    big service idea

Hey guys, how about posting here next time your twin needs a big service or some major work and depending on the area maybe we can get together and help. even if you don't need help it would be a good learning experience for some.

Think about it, 2 or 3 guys can get a service done a lot quicker. For example i can change my brakes in 5 minutes cose i had to do it so many times but at other stuff i'm crap, can't change fork seals, never even done my own tapets yet.

Asuming that all twins get used through the winter, spring will be the perfect time for a strip, clean and service.

I just remembered how the worked it back home in my grandad's village back in romania at harvest time. Instead of each and one of them doing it on their own, they all got together and finished them one by one.

Well yes I'm up for this.
Obviously it works better for those that live fairly close.

I think the SE based lot have done this a few times.

Great idea! The FJ Club organises a Northern Service Weekend where folk book in to have stuff done. Between us (regionally) we must have the tools and expertise to do this properly. And we could make some savings by buying oil & filters in bulk I guess.

Perhaps it could be organinsed through the regional meet-ups posts?
