After a few calls, Honda dont do a touch up pen, and Halfords dont mix the colour up either I thought im just gonna have to get the nearest possible match.

Spoke to my mate who recently refettled his beemer fairing, spoke to the company concerned.
    RESULT

Less than a tenner for a quarter of a litre of the blue for the TA. The company....

Wonder if they could do a match for the Africa Twin crankcases, which are merrily peeling away...

I guess you had to give them a paint code? Don't know if it's possible to get a paint code for things other than bodywork...

The frame and fairing subframe on an AT are perfect matches for Hammerite, shame they did the crankcases in a funny dark silver/gunmetal type colour. If they're going to do a cr*p finish the least they could do it stick to Hammerite colours...
flat out on utterly inappropriate tackle

They will chip the paint if u go along with the bike. but with how far afield you are thats out the question, but i suppose if you could supply a suitable sized flake of paint they would be able to chip it you. They were very helpfull and having touched up 'oooer' the couple of spots on the ta the match was perfect. Give them a bell and mention a local sheffield biker put em on the xrv forum. Might get you a discount. Just tell em my 2 year old was ripping the posters down off the front of the counter on saturday.
