    Rear shock rebuild?

    Hi All

Have a 93@ with 40k+ and can't fault it but my mates just bought a 96@ with 6k (!!) on it and it feels so much tighter as you'd expect! Now it's got me thinking about the rear shock as mine feels so much softer.

Has anybody had an original shock rebuilt/gassed? I haven't got the spare cash for a nice shiny new one. If so who by and was it worth it, assuming it can be done.

    Cheers

    Steve

I got lucky and got a really good shock off ebay for about £50. I have seen that you can buy a brand new one from wemoto for £180 - I think a rebuild and gas job would probably amount to the same.

Try these fellas - they quoted me about £80 for a rebuild , £130 for a new piston and all seals etc...They do lots of MX shocks so seem to know what they are doing.
Falcon Shock Absorbers - just in case the link doesnt work
