calling all @ maintanence manual owners

    Hi guys and gals,
I am sure the collective knowledge here will be able to help me with a minor prob. Ive just refitted the wiring loom into the bike and plugged most cables back together but there are three leads on the left hand crank case, two are the pickups but the third nearest the oil filter /drive shaft and closest to the front sprocket is causing the prob, what is it and where does it plug into. The only spare cable connector that I can find is round at the fuse box with the rear indicators and tail light bundle and but the lead from the unknown cable doesnt reach that far.
second question: does the wiring loom as it goes up the side of the airbox towards the steering column, run outside the airbox mounting bracket on top of the frame on the right hand side or inside the bracket on the side of the frame?

Neutral switch? It's near the front sprocket.
