    Pannier rack

I need a set of pannier racks for soft panniers, seen those at Touratech and those at SW Motech, any others i should know about? Once on i will probobly leave them on as i cant be bothered to take them on and off . Are there any more suitable than others? Any better if you drop it ? Any cheaper than those ?

    soft panniers fitting

I have seen pictures of soft panniers fitted to an AT that look like they don't have a pannier rack underneath. I have some Cargo Sport panniers which sweep up to clear the exhaust but I am finding it difficult to get the overall height up. The bottom of the pannier ends up touching the exhaust - not good. Any advice? Are pannier racks needed always? Thanks. MAtt

I ruined my Oxford Touring Panniers on my AT exhaust.

If you're intent on soft luggage get some of the Riky Cross frame stiffeners that Yen has. I had some on my AT when I bought it and they are excellent strap/bungee points and keep the luggage off the exhaust. Riky Cross will also give you an XRV.org discount!

I use soft bags without racks, no problem with the standard exhaust. You just need to find the right set of panniers. Bought mine in the States, so that's no help for you I guess. Look for some sport models, tapered for high exhaust.
