If you are fitting a genuine stand you should have received new exhaust gaskets with the kit,if not it is probably better to get some before removing the exhaust.

Abso-bloody-lutely. Got back the other day having dislocated my little finger in a game of footy, it was raining so I was wet too, and could I get the @ on the centre stand? Had to get my wife out to the garage to give it a shove.

    I agree

Went to Wales for the weekend, full Givi kit: topbox and paniers,
the ground where we stopped in Harlec was a little uneven.
Stick it on the center stand she who must be obeyed said.
It took 2 of us to do it

My stripped down AT (no bodywork, crashbars, handlebars, cable, exhaust, electrics, tank or seat) is really easy to put on the centre stand now. In fact I nearly fell over, as I really went for it cos of there being no handlebars and it went so easy I overbalanced.
