Another newbie!

Afternoon All,

Just thought I'd say hi - picked up a '95 @ last week after decades on all sorts of other kit - last bike was a tuned Gpz750 Turbo - and I have to say it's a blast. Never has 60 horsepower been so much fun! I'm up in sunny Oldham.

Here's my new toy - 19k, the heated grips don't work, but the Scottoiler does...



Quick question: does anyone find the gear lever's a bit cramped? OK, I've got size 12s, but even so, it's a very tight fit to get my foot under there...

Hi Muzz welcome to the site and nice bike, like the colours not as fast as the black ones but nether the less Can't comment on the gearlever as I have "normal" size feet but sure Lootch can give you a few tips with his size 15's

Move the gear lever up a notch!!

Welcome! Move the gear lever up a notch or two and take the rubbers off the footpegs , only one bolt underneath the peg with a sleeve and the rubber looped over it. Less than 5 minutes work and well worth it.
