Well it on a TA actually but no replys as yet on the TA section, as they are basically the same I'd thought i'd ask on here ..

My chain snapped on friday, so I am changing the sprockets as well as the chain.

My question is: should there be a some play on the front sprocket? by this I mean its fairly tight, i.e no play clockwise/counterclockwise but there seems quite a lot of play if i hold the sprocket on the top and bottom rock it in/out on the output shaft, or are they meant to be solid

Its a new sprocket and the splines on the shaft don't seem worn, the bikes done 18,000

Do i need a new output shaft, anyone got the dimensions of the output shaft so I can measure th diameter and spline width etc
