carb set up

Am just about to fit a KnN air filter and was wondering will I need to adjust my mix on the carbs to accomodate.

Will hopefully be adding a new exhaust, a Laser or Remus, and heard that I may have to change the carb needles - any ideas if that's the case?

If the K&N is the normal OE-airbox replacement (not the ones screwed-on directly on the carbs) then you don't need any carb adjustments. The K&N offers a slighlty better flow but will be well within the margin of the standard setup (I've been using them on many bikes and cars without any problem).

Not sure about the exhaust, if it's an "open" system that promises a considerable power-increase then it might be interesting to test the setup on a dyno. If it's a street legal can then I wouldn't worry about it.

Haven't tracked down a pipe yet so not sure what I'll end up with.
