    Ignition Barrel

The scum tried to nick my @ the other night. They mangled my bar clamps and brake lever which ain't no huge deal (still £75) but they also totally f*%$£d my ignition barrel.

I've been quoted over £200 for a new matching Honda one and about £140 for a non-Honda one. I could have sworn that they can be had for about £60-80? Or am I wrong?

I'd be grateful for any info' as to where I could get one of reasonable quality. I'm not bothered about having different sets of keys for the ignition and seat and in fact prefer it for obvious reasons.

    Cheers in advance

Do a search for ignition barrel on the site, I think Yen said the CBR one fits and it's a lot cheaper.

    Cheers.

I've just ordered one £80 inc' P+P from 'Pattern Parts' as per Yen's earlier theads on this.

What we could do with is some sort of device which can be fitted over the ignition barrel to stop the t%&* messin with it.

Hang 'em. It's the only way. Insurance not cover some of the cost, dare I ask?

Sorry to hear that MIggy....the scourge continues. Jeez, AT's really are this seasons "must have"! It's madness, someone in Albania or somewhere must've put in a big order.

Think this little device would deter the thieving scum?

Hang on, Mine was £35 not £80.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!
