    engine /frame mumbers

    hi all - should engine and frame numbers be identical on @s

    Engine numbers are normally RD04 - Frame numbers RD07 or RD07A etc.. Frame and Engine numbers never match.

    Frame numbers start RD03, RD04, RD07 or RD07A

    Engine numbers start RC3

    No they are defo not the same, frame number is on the VIN plate and the right side of the head stock, engine numbers are, well, on the engine

    Frame numbers start RD03, RD04, RD07 etc.
    Engine numbers start RD04 and mine then has an E, which I assume is for Engine. And the rest of the number is not necessarily the same (so my frame number ends 832 but engine number ends 886)

    so does "rd07a" on my vin no. mean rdo7, full power model?
    do rdo7a models have "rdo7aa"

    Yup. Read those before. so does this mean that an rd07a full power is shown rd07aa on the vin plate?
    anyone care to look? anyone got a restricted model (whatever that may mean?
