Chain and Sprockets in the USA

    Hi,

Don't know if anyone can help me but I am currently in the USA with my AT. I have just been out shopping for a new chain and sprockets for my AT but no one here recognises the model and subsequently have no idea what parts to put on my bike.

If anyone has any suggestions to keep me on the road, it will be gratefully appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Paul

Chain should be straight forward I use a DID X ring premium heavy duty 525 VM 124 link from memory.

As to the sprockets an engineering shop should be able to make some new ones from the old one's possibly?

    thank you

    Dave,

thank you for ur response. Have ordered a new chain, gonna get it fitted hopefully in a week, got enough to keep me going for a week fingers crossed. Most of the chain lengths here are 120 so mine has to be ordered.

Am learning lots very quickly, am just curious to see how other people got around the problem.

    Once againn, thank you

    Paul

    parts ordered

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for that information. Those sprocket sizes and chain they dont seem to stock here in the USA.

I have ordered a new chain today (tues) which is 530 instead of 525 and it is due late on thurs keeping me here in Nashville till Friday instead of leaving tomorrow. Will get new sprockets and chain ordered in the UK and sent out to me so I will have the right spares with me. THe new chain will at least keep me on the road for a while.

    Kind regards and ride safe

    Paul
