    Rear Shock

Does anyone have info on setting the rear shock .... The wife finds the ride on the back a little hard, I can set it fully to soft but will it then bottom out when two up and luggage...

I still have a few turns left on the sring plate adjustment, maybe thats where I should look...

Adjusting the preload (spring), does not adjust the spring rate - it essentially raises or lowers the rear or the bike with a given weight, if it is bottoming out, tighten the preload.

If the suspension is too firm the spring rate is too hard.
I'd check to see the chain isn't too tight and that the swingarm bearings and linkages are not (partially) siezed.
