weird day yesterday

Went out on the Africa Twin yesterday with my mate Ben on his Fireblade, we were bowling along came to a roundabout he tipped in and the back end came round on him, down he went !!!. No damage to him apart from wounded pride and nasty gravel rash over the bike. His first ever crash on the road in 15 years of riding ( 2 crashes when racing !!)

We got going again and then about 2 miles up the road we were stopped by the Police !!!! the policeman was very friendly and explained that they were doing a road safety campaign and would we like a free road safety DVD and a one of those little things you put on the ground to put the sidestand in to stop the bike falling over !!!

I then explained to the Policeman that Ben had just fallen off, so he gave him 2 DVD,s !!!

Bonus ... Last time I was pulled over I was given '3' points!!

At least he's ok. Was he going fast? probably bit of gravel or road grease
