    Hello... from Italy

    Another Italian AT enthusiast...
Please let me introduce myself: I am Breeze, 41 years old and I live in the north western part of Italy.
I have been a motorcycle rider since I was 14 and have owned a number of bikes in time.
Six years ago a friend of mine bought an AT while I took home a CBR929... I rode his AT a few times and I guess the good feeling remained dormant inside of me until three months ago.
I decided it was time to have an XRV750!
Found her on the internet about 200 km away, went to see her and signed the paperwork (model year 2000, 19200 km)!
I simply LOVE this bike, plus she is in good company with my other darling: a Kawasaki ZX-10R.
Hope to share thoughts and advice with you all in the future!
Here are a few pics taken in july on the Moncenisio pass (mine is the black one, the other one belongs to my friend Max who bought his at the same time and neither of us knew the other was buying an Africa Twin!).
    Cheers to all!!

    Welcome Breeze!

Lovely part of the world you're from...perfect territory for the AT.

I was there last Summer, infact I think this pic is at the same location!

Mine was the Black @ too...until it got stolen a few months ago! In fact, both these @'s have been stolen.

Hello Robster, thanks for the welcome!
The lake in the background is the Lago Azzurro, I think you did go to the same place!

I had a look at your website... nice trip!!!

I think if I remember rightly that was the Lac du Mont Cenis on the Col du Mont Cenis...fantastic road that we only rode out of chance becuase the Frejus Tunnel was still closed because of the fire.

Not as fantastic a road as the Col d'Iseran though. I NEED to go and do that again!

Sorry, we usually call it Lago Azzurro, but it's the same lake.

Hello Maverick, hope you visit us soon!

    Hi Breeze,

we rode the gravel track around the lake last year on our way to the Stella Alpina, 14 years ago I drove our Fiat Punto past the lake on our way to Napoli.

This is a favourite spot of mine and I intend to be there next July.

    cheers, Bob.
