Standard. They're cheap and work fine and you'll have the tank off for something else at sometime so replacing them isn't going to be a bother - certainly not worth spending shed-loads more.

Standard for me. My last set were in there untouched for about 30,000 miles.

Went into the shop the other day and asked the counter guy if it was worth fitting Iridiums on an AT. The answer was very quick and easy to understand.

    1 Iridium = 13.90 Euro
    1 Standard pluug = 3.5 Euro.

Don't forget to multiply by 4.

PS : He explained to me that it would be usefull on a tuned sports bike, but would add nothing extra to an AT. Except some Euros.

PPS - Yes I bought the standard champion plugs

oh well I was never one to follow the crowd... iridium plugs for me, better starting, better performance ie full power available from cold, great on fast short journeys (have to cover 2 miles in under 4 mins for work, dont ask...)...good long distance use, south of france non stop.
Anyway, put me down to pay the extra for iridium again next time as they are well worth it.

Another 'point' for Irridium! I'm with Les66 however not for the same reasons. I've put them in my Buell & Now in the @, but to be totally honest, i'm not too sure if there is a noticeable difference. Starting from cold I'm sure is better, but was never really bad with the standards.

I think for me it's probably like a new garment. For example I could have 2 identical shirts, one is from Primark the other is, lets say Gucci. I feel better with the Gucci 'cos it's reassuringly expensive, quality and supposed to be better, even though they are both the same and serve the same function.

....and no, I don't actually where Gucci

I was looking at new plugs for my @, but the price seems crazy for no large noticable difference, and i've seen a few posts where high mileage has been obtained with no problems, so think i'll be going for NON iridium.
