    not rd04 forks

Just taking a closer look at my 90 model forks and rear brake and guess what....not what should be there thats for sure.My front forks bear no resemblance to the haynes manual I have just bought. There are only 2 bolts holding th front axle on and on the left fork bottom there is an anti rotation hook in the bottom of the leg.and one of the previous owners has pit 4 shims around eack upper fork stanchion as fillers so I thinking that its had a front end crash and he,s put some other forks on and bodged them up,same with some home made brackets holding the brake calipers on.Oh and also the rear brake lever is going over the TOP of the footpeg. Also having big trouble sourcing some new fairings as there was a massive home made front screen put on it.cant figute out how to attatche pictures but its gota be seen to be beleived.

Only difference I recall from the RD04 forks they had air valves on the top for pressuring them. Took an amazing amount of fork oil compared to any bike I had before, something like 375ml each leg?

If the calipers are bodged on sounds like they've been changed all right!

Depends if you are keeping the bike and putting it back to standard. I'm sure some of the breakers bound to have forks for either the RD04 or 07?

At least the brakes would be safer! Sorry I can't help you with any parts, all mine are now gone
