rusty pile of poo remus can

Hi guys you may recall me going on at lenght about my new alu remus revoltion can. Well I refitted it over the weekend and found its got several pit marks and corrosion blooms. NOT HAPPY Bearing in mind I only got it in April and havent used it all summer is this the sort of thing I should expect or do I have a wee rant with the company I purchased it from.
When it was taken off the bike it was polished and stored in a dry airy garage.

you should always go stainless! or titanium.

I complained about mine and was told that I should have washed and dried it after each outing! Yeh right!
