    Bike cover

Hi, I don't have a garage and am looking for a good bike cover for my @. any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I have been looking at the oxford stormex covers advertised on ebay for 50 quid. anyone with any experience with these covers let me know what they are like...cheers

I have one (the bigger size) and it had trouble covering the VFR with the rack on so I doubt it would cover an AT. I might try it on my XLV but I can't see it happening.

Good cover though and fully waterproof. In addition, the inside lining prevents any scuffs...etc.

Shame about the size though. I might try to cover the XLV tomorrow to see if it would fit.

been looking at the sizes on the oxford site. Looks like the rainex is the only one that will fit and it looks a bit flimsy

scrub that its the aquatex that is the only one big enough

Got the stormex , covers the whole bike even with the higher powerbronze screen , just leaves a few inches of wheel showing. You dont want it touching the floor anyway. I am very pleased with it. (XRV 750)
Had a cheaper one , it was rubbish !

I have an Oxford Stormex cover, which I used for a few months last winter on my Triumph. I haven't tried it on the AT but from the post above, it apparently fits. It's be far the best bike cover I ever bought, especially as it's breathable (condensation forming on a covered bike is the big problem with covers).

I now have a garage so I'm intending to put it on ebay. If anyone's interested, drop me a line in the next week or three...

Oh, I also have one of the cheapo Argos covers, as have been recommended for the AT on this site before. Not breathable - so probably a good option if you ride the bike most days, but not so good if you leave it covered for long periods, where condensation could form.

These things are dead cheap in Argos, but anyone who wants it can have it for free if they send me a stamped envelope. Just PM me, so I can firstly confirm that I managed to find it in the garage and that a mouse hasn't nested in it, and secondly so I can tell you how big an envelope to use and how much it weighs (so you can put the right stamps on it).
