height question

Just thought I would ask what the average height is for AT riders in here, been looking at the members pics and can see that most people have ther feet planted flat on the floor. They must be 6'3" or more. I am 5'11" and in tiptoe heaven

I'm 1m89 on my XLV. The seat is quoted as 855mm high. No problems.

I'm about 5'9" to 5'10" around 1.75m I reckon, depends on the weather!

I found the RD04 @T a bit tall, the RD07 was a piece of cake though. Most of the guys on here are giants compared to me though!

you sure 5'11" is 176cm? (1 feet = 30.48 centimetres)

It`s more a matter of inside leg dimension than a person`s height,as some folk have long bodies and short legs.....(no,really...they do. )

I`m 5ft 11 and three quarters of an inch.

My inside leg measurement is 33 inches.

My XLV (even with the suspension fully pumped up) feels like a toy after my 1100GS with the seat on the highest setting !!

on my old passport it says 1.76 but it was my passport from when i was 19, so just assumed i was 1.76. just measured mysel and i measure at 176. that means i am olny 5'9!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant be right

By gad!!!!! What are the odds, I've not this last hour got someone to measure me (my height) when I found an old surveying tape in my desk drawer. Now I always tell people I am 5' 11 3/4 " and that I never made 6 foot, my brother and Dad both being 6'2".

Imagine my shock when I discovered I'd lost a quarter of an inch and am now officially 5' 11 1/2". It's true, you do shrink with age. Anyway, I'm under the magic 6 feet and get both feet flat on the floor. However from the waist up I only measure one foot.

i agree it must be a shrinking with age thing, because i was thew tallest of 3 brothers with my other brothers being 5'9" and 5'10". cant beleive i have lost and inch and a half.......gutted!!

6'02" tall and at 15 stone with 31 inch inside leg ( long body short legs!)but size 12 feet help and make the AT is a perfect bike for me
( except perhaps for a R1150GS Adventure!!!!)
