I've finally bit the bullet and fitted road biased tyres to my @.

I had Annakee's on first then Tourance, now i've fitted Metzeler Lasertec's.

The Anakee's were great in the wet but only lasted 6000 miles.
The Tourance lasted 8000 mile but were crap in the wet, the front also needed rebalancing after 3000 miles.

I have not off roaded since my KTM 350 days. The @ is mainly for scratching and touring, hence why fit semi knobbly tyres.

Problem is there is not a lot of choice with a 21" front.
The Lasertec's fit the size's and other members on the forum have tried them so I ordered a pair off tinternet.
£134 delivered( the rear is expensive it's 'V' rated £80)

Any way I took them out this morning to scrub em in.
123 miles, fast A, twisty B and even some motor way.

It was a little damp first thing so steady she goes, less vibration and noticably quieter than the Tourance. I am sure they turn in smoother too.
I even rode through a heavy shower on the 41 outside Whitchurch, they seemed to hold the road well.

It's early days but first impressions are good
I will keep you informed on progress through the winter, grip and milage.
