Heres what i made at the weekend:









I decided to have a go at making this, as after my initial rear end mods, the frame rails were exposed and the rear of the bike looked a bit messy from the side. Its also easily removable to convert back to the old Honda parts if i want to.

Ive seem some people have removed the original subrame and made a new one, but i wanted to keep it, so i can mount my top box and givi rack.

Its deceptive, but i can fit inside spare inner tubes and a number of other things - only light stuff (or a bloody big sarnie and a can or 2 of beer . I'm intending to raise the bike anyway, so should have no rear wheel clearance problems.

There is an ally plate behind the numberplate which is hinged, and the lock stops it popping open.

If i could only fit an electric servo, just the thing for dodging speed cameras :idea:

Did it whilst junior was asleep - in between feeding and nappy changing

I wont be able to take her to Rykas, as rear tyre is right on/below legal limit - if the feds are there i dont want the trouble. Run out of tokens at the mo to get new tkc's, and i'm getting the wheels sprayed up anyway when i change tyres.

I may be coming down on frankendom - just working on a pass

Its also the Copdock motorcycle show at the suffolk showground this weekend in Ipswich - on Sunday.
