I use some as a last resort about 3 days per year. They were from M&P years ago and called Dakar type handlebar muffs. They fit around the handguards. They are lined with nylon tiger fur, very tasteful.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

Sounds like a tropical disease to me, as in "Sorry can't go for a ride, I've got a nasty case of Handlebar Muffs today".

At this time its -5c here in Denmark so I have just fitted my Oxford muffs. They work wonders for keeping my hands warm and fit pefectly over the OEM hand guards.

Blimey! Never new such muffs existed. They look very snug, if not a little bit cumbersome I suppose if you ride in minus conditions regularly they are very 'handy'... excuse the pun
