    Extra Large handguards.

I just knew that BMW GS's were good for something - SPARE PARTS

These are from a BMW GS1150 and fit straight onto my @....even when I wore my summer gloves in today's downpour, my hands didn't get wet or cold.......these are FANTASTIC.

There's even space allowed for the cabling and brake lines to fit through.

Yup - well actually in the conservatory which is not actually in the kitchen but the last part of the house.

You can just see my girlfriends Dragstar in the background, and as she didn't want to keep cleaning the shiny bits in the cold, she suggested she bring it inside

who am I to argue and so the @ is keeping her Dragstar company.

It's an altogether more civilised location to tinker with one's shiny bits

Lol, I was watching a pair of these on Ebay. Were at £6 plus £6 p&p for a few days and I thought if they went up as far as about £20 I'd have a pop. Didn't want to pay a fortune for 2nd hand guards described as having a scuff on one of them and that came with no fitting kit.

They sold this evening for £49.99 plus the £6 p&p - total £56, give or take the penny.

Brand new pair from MOTOBINS (Part number 61365) including fitting kit - £37.50 + VAT, which is about £43 plus p&p of about a fiver.

As much as I love Ebay...you still gotta do your research!

Same for used fairing panels (even scratched examples): They sometimes sell for more than what David Silver charges you for new ones when using their own 6-weeks-import procedure
Dougal, is there anything on your mind?

I can't remember exactly how much, but the price Robster paid for them sounds about right. I bought them from my nearest BMW dealership and they were definitely under £40.

I was amazed...........genuine BMW parts so cheap!!..........guess I'm just used to Honda prices.

It's not worth buying secondhand at this price - buy new and guarantee you get all the correct fixings.
