    Brake Pads and Disks?

OK, my next mission is to swap out the Pads and Maybe the Disks (front and rear)...

Was gonna use Genuine Honda Parts but has anyone got any suggestions for Better performing and maybe more durable brands? (If there are any!) And if so an online supply source?

    Thanx

Based on reading past experiences I don't think you can get much better than original Honda stuff.

I had no problem with after market pads but Yen did have with some problem with aftermarket disks and pads I think?
    Forum help and advice needed?

Forget EBC discs, they are pretty miserable (get rusty really quick, poor performance in wet & cold, feels like early-70's brake technology ).

David Silver Spares sells front OE discs for around £59 + VAT/P&P, about the same as EBC. Not sure about the rear one.

OE pads are good as well; EBC-HH pads worked really well too (more bite, also bit more noticeable wear though). I also had Armstrong pads that tried to eat through the discs
Unless you have sports ambitions, the OE pads seem like the best compromise.

stick with the OE disks they are fine if you want more power the HH pads are great but will wear the disks quicker

also when you fit the new disks and pads take it very easy on the breaking for about 40-50miles ..to heavy breaking can warp the disks when new

Fletch - your disks have loads of life left and your engine is bearly run in - save your money! My recommendation is for Carbon Lorraine pads - but they eat the disks a lot quicker.
