16 people said they would want carb springs, 4 have actually ordered.
There's no obligation on the other 12, I just don't want you to miss out on account of me having taken so long to get my act together![]()
If you'd like some, here's how to order

Begging your pardon Icenian
Just read the thread regarding the springs saga, well done. Presently running @ with a bodged spring on one carb. During the summer attempted to solve poor starting issue, bought new choke cable from said Honda dealer for £40 didn't recieve springs, turned out didn't require new cable, old cable now on shelf gathering dust, however springs do need replacing, as memory serves shop was unhelpful with this dilema, hence bodge.
Am now having trouble with the choke lever, has lost the ability to stay open, think something was missed when reassembled.
Could be the new cable and perhaps you've lubed the lever. Mine used to (before disconnection) move back a little if it wasn't held after I took it apart and cleaned it. That'll teach me to clean something.Originally Posted by Eyetee

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!
Thats comforting to know, am hoping that its something as simple as that. Someone suggested that his lever almost clicked twice when opened, felt like a ball baring seating in a cup, had me wondering if on disassembly something went amiss.
