    Take care this festive season

So, driving home to my parents today (in the car) and got pulled in the middle of nowhere. Ok, my fault (49 in a 30 ), but the rozzers were out at 815 on a misty Sunday morning (xmas eve) and (after a brief but polite chat where they didn't even patronise me ) they let me on my way and didn't even breathalise me (not that I'd have failed). After that I saw them everywhere, saw at least 8 people pulled on the motorway, 3 camera vans, the works. Seems like there's a bit of a revenue exercise going on, getting in a bit of the o/t to pay for xmas etc.

To make things worse, having run a few errands on the way I got pulled again (3 miles from home) and given a verbal warning for 'dis-respecting the police '!! (a long story, the PC driving the car was pretty cool but the lady officer, the passenger in the car, wanted me banged up and was prepared to throw the book at me for everything including not having matching socks ).

Now admittedly I'm no angel, but 2 pulls in the same day, and in the car too is quite an unfortunate / spectacular feat. And I now have 3 gold stars to go on my previously clean licence.

Anyway, a warning to everyone, especially anyone around the Manchester/Bolton area and also around London (so my london friends have told me). The police are becoming sh*t hot for pulling people in the mornng (for drink driving) and as well as this, speeding through the festive period appears to be worse than mugging old ladies and don't drive anywhere near police cars without matching socks coz its now a crme (apparently). Seriously I've never seen so many police cars on the roads at any one time..

So, hope you all have a good Christmas, take care, stay safe and don't drive (too) fast. I'm no staying away from all vehicles over the entire festive period unless someone else is driving

Well, there are a lot of drunks on the roads so I am quite happy with extra check-ups. On christmas night, somebody had left their car right in the middle of a T-junction near our house, a puddle of sick next to it It was a 2 tonne Toyota Landcruiser 4x4, imagine if you'd get that running into you. Bloody tossers, I hope they crash their feckin drunken heads into a concrete wall next time

I got that too! Rubbish! I have written a stern letter to the white star line about it.
