    cm seat

I dropped my old butt killer off last monday to Cm seats, for the "works". Thursday I was called and told that it was done.. (unfortunately i could not pick it up till tonight). So I'll will be getting my new seat tonight and will tell you everything tomorrow..

so far. They have been very profesional, courteous and fast. The seat with all the work has cost me a fair bit of dosh.. but i did get the entire rebuild, new shape and gel pads.. so i kinda expected it...

My TA seat is currently with Melvin too, I've shortened it to a single seat and having it recovered basketweave stylie.
When/ If I get out on a longer run and the seat still feels uncomfortable I plan investing in an Airhawk pad rather than the gelastic.

I must say he did a great job on my AT seat. The pics are on his website.

Well first impression.. was wow.. . it was very well put together and looks a treat.. once fitted it looked even nicer.. although I was in the dark...

on first sitting it was a bit "squeaky", but i assume it was just the newness of the pleather and will go away. I could only take it for a 10 minute ride, so i dont really know how it feels at the horrible 120 mile mark!. It feels very different then the OEM seat a lot firmer, a bit wider, holds me in a better riding position. I cant really feel the gel pad in there, any one got one can you feel it? .. (so the paranoid part of me wonders if it is there .. hey I always worry about these things that i can not see.. that is why i ask for all parts back from any mechanic that i have do any work. ) anyway Sunday I will be going for a long ride.. somewhere.. so Ill tell you then.. and Ill get some pic now that Anubis is well mostly done... looking at a new rear shocker now... the wife is gunna kill me....

    Don't be paranoid mate. >:6

Melvin Hunter has a great reputation and if your new seat is anyhting like mine you'll be very happy with it I've had mine for 18 months approx and I've forgotten what the old AT plank was like.
