Comfortable? Yes. Feels kind of hard at first, but something about the shape or the extra width makes it better than the original. Can't recall how quickly it was delivered, sorry.

Don't hold your breath for any orders from Touratech. TT UK don't seem to hold any stock at all and just forward orders to TT DE. TT DE are struggling to cope with demand for the BMW stuff that they're doing, in particular for the 1200GS and that puts orders for everything else back.

Dunno about delivery times, but, expect it to be very comfortable - especially if you get your butt back to the area just before the pillion 'rise'. Do expect it to be a very loose fit and to loose its rubber bungs on the underside feet fairly sharpish as well.

I ordered some parts from Nick Plumb at Touratech UK over six months ago for my KTM adventure and they totally failed to deliver anything, eventually found the part in a shop in the US so called them and it arrived two days later (how is that for service), Touratech stuff is good kit but their delivery STINKS!

TT UK should start to licence the parts design to UK manufacturers and beef up the very weak supply (my suggestion)

(sorry Nick, but the truth hurts sometimes)

    gripe over
