Thinking about purchasing some Handlebar Risers from Touratech... (I don't like their new Web Site!) Here...
Anyways, Quick Q. if I may... Will I need to change any of the cables etc. after fitting or will the originals stretch far enough?
Thanx All![]()

you have about 25mm of play in your cables... so you can get a way with about that much of a riser.. any more and you will have to change your cables, the wires should not be much of an issue unless you go silly high
i have a set of 25mm SW Motech risers for sale if you are intrested, you dont need to change cables with 25mm ones. 20quid and a couple of quid for postage if you want them
I have those SW-motech risers and they are good quality and don't need other mods apart from releasing one of the brake hose clamps to create more clearance.
Chad gave me a set of Nippy Norman's handlebar risers that not only goes up 25mm but also back which release a fair amount of stress on your shoulders![]()
I've got 35mm on mine, but the brake leads had already been changed, and they make long rides more comfortable.
