Mainly out of curiosity, how many of us are there with the best Africa Twin of all time, yes the original RWB (or a variation on the theme) RD03 650cc XRV650J/K.
Hands up at the back there, don't be shy![]()

Thunderchild is an '88 origional RD03. I was told by the guy who I bought her from that she was one of the origional Paris Dakar bikes, but personally I don't believe that line and suspect that it was just him trying to get more money out of me.
*sniffs*
and me from Norway
I'm in- '88 RWB... soon to be 650cc... (don't ask, the bike will need years of therapy to get over what the previous owners did to it...)
rd03 imported from germany/switzerland. single square headlight on front. modest restoration, now hacking up and down to london each day. 20 ltrs of fuel gives 350km on clock. have found it lighter and more nimble than rd05. also has v easy original fitmentcentre stand (transalp frame?)
