Well have you tried?
My battery is kept on an optimate, so storage and battery discharge is no problem.![]()
Normally a battery will last a month unstarted if its running an alarm
I suggest you charge it before you try and start it up.

Should be grand. My old AT sat for a while before Chad picked it up. Fired up on the button. My GSA sat for 2 months over winter and started on the button too.
You don't say which model, if it's an early RD03 or RD04 you may find that all the petrol has evaporated out of the carbs, there is a fix for this on the ATic website, other than that and the battery being Ok you should have no problem, my RD03 was in the garage all last winter and started up on about the 3rd attempt with a little choke in spring![]()
Three weeks is nothing, should be fine.
On my '94 model RD07 it takes a few seconds to get some fresh fuel back into the carbs if not used for a couple of days (I believe later models have some kind of anti-evaporation loopback?) but that should not pose a real problem. 3 months shouldn't even be too difficult, 3 years could be a different story though.![]()
Since my new battery I have left my bike that long and had no trouble. Might take a bit to get evrything flowing but if the battery will last, then the bike will start.
The previous battery would have died on the second attempt.

Whenever I leave for work abroad (between 35-70 days at a time), up to 6 times a year or more, I always top up my petrol tank to full, then take out my battery and cover the bike. I recharge the battery the night I come home and in the morning, "wham-bam-thank you ma'am", either first or second attempt she starts. I've never had to use the choke in over 2 years I've owned the @. Mind you, we have much more friendly, ambient temperatures over here than the UK, sorry.........![]()
