There are numerous aftermarket seats available for the AT.

Failing that search on here for GA Wells up in Shepshed. They are a vehicle upholsterers and must have done several dozen seats for members of this site myself included.

Just call them and book in for a Saturday. Ride up there (on tippy toes) and they'll do it for you in about a half hour while you wait and have a bacon sarnie at the little cafe next door.

Mine cost me £20 about 2 years back. They'll reshape it, lower it, put extra padding in....whatever. Highly recommended.

GA Wells probably is the best and cheapest option. I have a Corbin seat, which is noticeably lower than the standard, but is slightly wider. At 5' 9" the original was fine for me, and might be for you too - give it a try for a while!

I am only 5,9 with same inside leg...and my seat is an aftermarket jobbie which is higher than standard and I am fine, was a bit wobbley when I test rode it but after a little while its fine. bit hard work trying to push it backwards on an incline on the tiptoes but good for the calves

I'm 5'10", but with a 31-32" inside leg and the slightly higher - gulp! - RD03, I'd go along with Barry, don't go off first impressions, you need to try it for a while, if it's still too much then look at lowering the seat or getting a lowering kit for the rear suspension, or if you've got £300 to spare Hagon will make you a lower rear shock.

I'm 5'11" but with a 30" inside leg, and have no trouble - that could be due to my weight compressing the suspension though (16 st)
