    Unhappy Inner tube size?

What's the size of the rear inner tube?

    Options from the Busters shop:

    200/225-17
    225/250-17
    275/300-17

And can I use 18" inner tube on a 17" rim?

None of them fits. The size you should be lookin for is more like 4.50-5,10. Those tubes you have found are for 80cc motocross front tire.

    Thanks Peltsi.

Any idea about fitting an 18" inner tube on a 17" rim?

Why 18"? Is it hard to get correct size in there? I guess London is such a small place you have to take what you get.

You could fit a 18", like a 21" front will also go in the back, but I'd only do it until I could sort the whole thing out. Extra rubber moves etc and creates extra friction, increaseing risks of punctures, 'specially impact punctures. I run my rear with a rimlock, and lube the tube with vaseline before I put it in (or er missus!) Theory is that it should reduce heat build up and "Grap" between tube and tyre/rim, minimising puncture risk. (Thats at lower pressures though, ish 14psi.)

Most bike shops should have ultra heavy duty tubes in 17" and 21", but could definately order them in, ish Ģ15-18 per tube.

Surprisingly, Busters doesn't sell 17" inner tube to fit. I've been looking at racespec.co.uk as well and they don't do it either. That's why I'm considering other options...

    Thanks anyway.

    Re: Inner tube size?

    I just bought a replacement front tube from these guys;
    http://www.dirtbikestore.co.uk/cgi/s...190#a770_2d190

I got the 90-21 front can someone confirm I've ordered the right one?? (It hasn't arrived yet)
I went for the heavy duty, but they do extra heavy duty too.

That link of yours donīt seem to be working. Weīll just the same. You canīt go seriously wrong with 21" front tire tube. It doestnīt matter if it's 80/90-21 or 90/90-21. There really isnīt too much other sizes awailable.

Heavy duty tubes are fine once get it it. Itīs a bit harder job to put in and there's a speed limit atleast some of them(150kmh).
