Well,
I finally washed it, combed it ( my dog wire brush comb)and photgraphed it.
Secured with industrial Velco ( underneath seat base)
As Comfy as you will EVER GET
Its as waterproof as a sheep ( dries very quickly either on or off the bike)
Keep all those expensive gel seats

Get down the local rag market/ car boot sales
Pick up an old sheepskin, wash/ fit and go

I do not normally use this around town or for short journeys, just long days/ holiday trips where comfort is a real consideration.
I normally use the stock ' hard as nails' seat.
This is a very cheap and perfect solution to all the links on this site about 'numb bums'
