    new tyres

Hi sorry if this is going over old ground, but I cant find any threads/posts on this.

I am starting to look for replacement tyres for my ATand was looking through MCN a couple of weeks ago and read an article on tyres. In this article they talked about 'Adventure Sport' bikes and mentioned the Dunlop D220ST tyres which are conventional road tread tyres which will fit the AT.

I have no desire to take my AT off road and have never really felt safe on 'road biased tyres', so wondered if anybody has had any experience of these Dunlop D220ST tyres?

Looked around a few websites about them, think you may be lucky actually finding a size (front or rear) that fits the AT. Maybe try the tyre poll to see what everyone else uses over there.
Personally, in two and half years I've gone through 2 brand new sets of Metzler Saharas and now on Tourances, which I love. I believe alot of lads & lasses there use Continental TKC-80's, which also come highly recommended.
    Sorry can't be more help.

    Re: new tyres

    Hi

    I've Tried a few now
Annakees: feel super wet or dry worn out 6,000
Tourance: great dry average in wet 7000 rear wore uneven
Lasertec feel great any time, rean worn out 5000 front 7500
Road riders: Still testing feel very smooth wet or dry holding up well 2000
I rarely venture off the black stuff mainly back lane or B roads, occasional green lane, no motor ways.

    Hope this helps
