    CLUTCH

Had a minor pannic with my clutch - with the original cable that came with the bike, ALL of the adjustment on the cable was being used up, and it was dragging like a ba*st**d

Oh crap - i thought i needed a new clutch and springs etc ....... but no i decided to order just a new cable from Wemoto yesterday, and it arrived today, so just switched cables and hey-presto all is well again ----- phew

I was surprised that the cable had stretched that much - or it originally had the wrong cable - it had the normal adjusters at the clutch lever end and by the clutch arm, it also had another adjuster section about an inch from the clutch lever end.

The new one had only the 2 adjusters at each end - i guess the old one i had was wrong

now i can get back to finishing the rest of the bike

    Hey anton88,
I just replaced my clutch cable last night. Your right, a new cable comes with only the 2 hex nuts (1 large, 1 small) at the clutch end. At the lever end you should have the knurled lock ring closest to the lever and the adjuster itself. Is that what you now have at the lever? Both have slots to allow the cable to slide thru and should not be alighned after final adjustment.
