    Grip Help

Hi Folks, has anyone replaced their grips with anything other than heated ones!
My @ has had its grips replaced with some cheap and nasty items that I haven't seen the like of since my ole Grifter back in 85!
Does anyone know of any gel type comfy numbers or what alternatives do people have out there! Cheers Shack

    Re: Grip Help

I found some nice soft foam ones for mine. They don't seem to be very popular these days but I like the "retro" look. Can't say I noticed them at all on a 2,000 miles trip to the Pyrenees so they must have done a pretty good job.

    Re: Grip Help

I have used the same foam grips as above on my old RD 250 very nice but if you are going to use the bike off road and get the grips muddy I found them very slippery and hard to hold on to, you could try a good motor cross/off road shop they should have a large selection that would fit.

what make are your hand guards?
    Are they standard rims?
