Anyone running Continental Escapes on their AT? What's the verdict on 'em as a road tyre.
I've just about worn out the Tourances I got from Chad. I'll probably go back to TKC80's but then again...

Hi Jim,
I've read an iffy report about escapes somewhere, Cabbage and co are running Scorpions and seem quite pleased with them; I will probably go down that route when my current TK rear wears out. Anakees get a reasonable press, expensive though.

Pete, your front TKC was worn out about 5,000 miles ago!
Good idea though, I might have a look at Scorpions.

No problems with Conti Escapes back and front for me.
Had them on for my trip last summer and they were fine.![]()
I've got them fitted, seem fine to me![]()
I'm on the second set of conti escapes on my Africa ---just returned from a tour of Austria 2200 miles 2 up in rain, sun, fast roads, autobahns, mountain passes and they performed perfectly.----- go for it![]()
Cheers Guys. Just been checking prices and Escapes seem to be the most economical option. I think I'll give 'em a go.

Do - Escapes seem to be a good compromise between road and the odd track. I've been running them for the last three tyre changes without problems - like you I went for them initially because they are the most economical option. Scorpion M/T 90s are better on the road and last longer, but at a price....

Right then "Escapes" it is. Scorpians doesn't sound quite right does it!!![]()
