Help swopping the Ignition Barrel.

Hi folks, just a quickie, how easy is it to swop the ignition barrel over, it looks like a push fit and life Can't be that simple. one on ebay the finishes v.soon. Still having probs getting keys cut so this might be the solution.

Fairly easy but quite time consuming as you'll have to remove the tank and the air box to plug the wires into the harnass. That's unless you take a shortcut and simply split the original wires.

Thanks for the speedy response, I think I'll pass on that barrel and carry on with the key hunt.

I think you have to drill out the retaining screws to replace, when installed the heads break off ( security feature) someone will correct me if i'm wrong
