    RD04,s on Ebay

I have just noticed that 2 RD04,s have sold on Ebay in the last few days. One for £830 and the other for £935 which i think is cheap money for an RD04.

I think the next decent "donor" that comes up will have my name on it. I so want to build a Rothmans NXR replica. I feel a winter project coming on.

Africa Queens or Boano front fairing
Decent rear shock and fork springs
    Top Quality Rothmans paint job
    Fruity Exhaust Can
    Good detailing.

    Any other thoughts or suggestions?

I can only suggest get stuck in - it may take you longer than you plan tho.

Just to add - those are stonking good deals ------------- if the dommie was gone, i'd probably try and sneak another rdo4 into the garage while the mrs wasnt looking

I still prefer the 2 RD04s I had (before some t***ts nicked 'em) to my present '97 RD07.

    They def' looked better IMHO.

I saw both of those bikes on e-bay - very little money for a lot of bike i think - and ideal for modifying

Shep - youll have hours of fun if you go ahead with this - just make sure your other half understands you will be busy in the garage/shed for quite a while

Best tip i can think of is to save africa twin in e-bay and keep looking for parts on there - especially from europe - you never know what may turn up and you can save yourself a fortune.

ooh - just another thought - dont worry about using bits that arent from an AT . eg i bought a blue flame s/steel exhaust for a Yamaha R6 (cheeeeep off e-bay ) and made a new link pipe myself (never done any welding before i started on my bikes here) and it works a treat.
