    speedo drive

hi all, well bugger me. my 650 affy is turnig out to be a bit of a curse and a blessing. the bad bits are cosmetically its rough but sortable. lots of rust on frame(hello smooth white hammerite) strange noise when cold and clutch is engaged but only last a min if that, worse thing is sppedo drive on the wheel is shot it, the worm gear is seized solid. and i cant find a replacement, any ideas anyone???.
now for the good bits everything else seems fine and i suspect a recent engine rebuild due to new gaskets being visible on joining surfaces. trying to post pixs too for every one to see.

Hey Kingpingu - THAT sounds a lot like my spannering!

Cabby had a more straightforward way to get at the speedo, I think it's in the first link, and BobA recently had a go too (second link I think) - so both probably worth a gander when you're ready to get in there

    Quicky Advice Please !!
