I have to fit a new back tyre, and lastyears MOT, the guy said the wheeel bearing will likely be needed this year.
May as well do it when I change the tyre.
Anyone recommend somewhere to get them? (Gonna do the front and rear)
Cheers.

if you dont know the bearing sizes or no's then go to wemoto, if yo do have the bearing specs then buy direct online from Simply Bearings.
Many thanks,, according to that site, for a RD07A:
3x Inside Diameter 17mm Outside Diameter 40mm Width 12mm
1x Inside Diameter 17mm Outside Diameter 47mm Width 14 mm
Does the @ really have different bearings between the rear left and rear right?
Looking on Simply Bearings, I have a choice of 72 bearings, in those sizes, ranging from £2.50 to £40!!!! What ones do I go for?

most bikes run an ofset bearing in the rear because only one side of the wheel is under direct load from the sprocket, dont know about the @ but the xtz has 3 different bearings with largest under the cush drive, two mediums seperated by a crush tube and then a small on the outside.
dont know on the @ what the situation is with external seals (eg between the main hub and the cush drive plate) but in most cases you should run sealed bearings if there is any chance of contamination, so for the ideal situation fit sealed on the outer hub and the cush drive with the inner being an open bearing.... BUT!!!!
the chancese are that the internal bearing wont fail anyway as its the least stressed so for an easy life i would just buy all sealed bearing and have done....

looks like the best bet to me, however remember your not getting any main seals with these bearing those you will need to buy seperatly from a honda source so i suggest you check on the price of these aswell before ordering as you may be forced to pay so much for the seals that it works out cheaper to buy a kit with seals from wemoto!....
sorry if that is confusing...![]()

<Why on the @ is the small bearing on the drive side, where the most loading is>
The drive side rear Left is the bigger of the two rear bearings,6303=17x47x14 and the right hand 6203=17x40x12 same size as the fronts. Rgds Jeff.

<I am over 50,you'll have to allow for this?> I know the feeling Soho i've had my last birthday with a 5 as the first number.Rgds Jeff.
OK, I have no idea what the dust covers look like. I assume they cannot be removed without damaging them, hence why I need new ones.
How many per wheel? Are they on the front and rear?
I'm sure I can figure it out when I come to do the job, but I want all the bits to hand, so need to go to MrHonda and get the dust covers, and don't want to sound like a clueless idiot when I go in there!!
