Riky Cross top section - indicator removal?

If anyone's still around and has fitted Riky Cross top section headlight guard - I'm having trouble taking the front indicators off to slide the top fitting on.
My problem is finding where the cable has a connector so that I can take the indicator off.

Anyone know if I'm going to have to cut the cable? Can't find a connector in there anywhere and Haynes is giving nothing away...
RD07a, reg in 2001, Black, heated grips, short screen, Scottoiler, Givi top box and panniers, DataTag, full Riky Cross crash bars, Baglux tank cover, Facet pump, mostly 200 miles to reserve and presently a lot happier since being loved up at Chad's hospital for sick ATs!

Remove headlight fairing and looking at the front of bike just below and in front of the trip meter is a rubber shroud. Both left and right indicators are pluged in under there

Thanks SammoJim - until I read this I hadn't realised I was going to have to take the front fairing off! Much better after I had

Stormforce - thanks brother, you were a great help

It was exactly as you said: after I had stripped the bike completely, pushed, shoved and pulled the bars til my ears were bleeding and my spleen moved above my liver, it all dropped together as though it had been designed and made by a blind person that had never seen or heard of a motorcycle. Excellent workmanship Riky Cross!

~The only issue left is that the fixing through the new bars into the rubber "engine mount" thingy on both sides seems too long as there's three-sixteenths of thread left when fully tightened down - same on both sides. I assume that the stud on the other side of the rubbery thing has been sunk too deep but I'm not pulling $0dd!n5 thing apart again until I've had three weeks bed rest

    Thanks again!

Steve - I had the same on mine and just cut the bolts down. Remove the bolt from one side at a time, wind a suitable nut onto it, attack said bolt with hacksaw to desired length, then wind nut back off to make sure thread is OK - bolt back onto RC 'rubber thingy' then repeat on t'other side.............

Or you could just pack it with a couple of washers........

I agree with you on the fit of the bars, but it seems to be that most of the aftermarket engine / crash / fairing guards need a strong arm to get them bolted on

Anyway - glad to be of service - speak again soon.
