What model is this bike?

A mate has just bought himself an AT. Reg is S432***, the frame is JH2RD07A5WM304752 but the engine is RD04EZ804904

So, S Reg; but it was registered in 98, shouldn't it be a W?. The frame number shows it's an RD07, but is the engine an RD04?

It looks like an RD07

All engine numbers are RD04. The frame number dictates that it is an RD07.
No idea about registration but if it were manufactured but not registered foo a year or so (as with mine) or pre-registered, as they do these days with cars, that might balls things up.

Cant tell you about reg stuff.. but most rdo7 engines start with rd04... Dont know why?

My bike is a 1998 R plate with an engine number of RD04 etc etc etc

It is indeed a 1998 model.

My 94 registered AT is a XRV750-R, if you remove the seat the exact model should be printed on top of the mud guard beside the paint code.
