In addition to Dave S's words of caution about Copyright Law, a word of caution about the quality of any PDFs of manuals you may be offered. I have a friend (!!) who bought a PDF of a @ manual (one resembling Haynes') on Ebay. It was described on Ebay as being up there with the dog's danglies as far as quality was concerned. When it arrived on CD, it was a scanned copy of the manual, which means it isn't searchable like a true PDF file. It was an image file saved as a PDF, so none of the text was searchable for key words. So, say you wanted to search the entire manual for every occurrence of the words, "output shaft", or "choke", or any word far that matter, it wouldn't work because the entire document was one large scanned image rather than a true text document. It's worth asking any (legitimate) seller this question before you buy, otherwise it's better to buy the real thing. Trust me.... eerrr trust my friend! He told me so.

99% of the bike manuals offering on CD/PDF or other electronic forms will be a scanned version of the paper manual. Only if you have a friend working for Honda (or the other bike companies) are you likely to get hold of a real electronic version, but as all companies digitally tag each and every copy it means that if a copy finds it's way to the outside world the person whom it was issued to is likely to find themselves hung/drawn and quartered.

As for the asking for manuals on here that's not against copyright law, but anyone offering a manual that isn't an original will find thier posts deleted and a warning given as otherwise poor Dave could get into a lot of trouble if he allows his forum to be a medium for the offering of copyright material.

So guys do Dave a favor, keep it private and off forum.

It's just the booklet that comes with the bike.
I've asked it several times to my dealer to deliver me an original one, but for some reason he didn't do it.
Anyway, when there is a copyright on this subject, I can imagine that making a copy will be not correct.

As it's a handbook that's given out with every AT I'm not particularly bothered. I know the lawyers wouldn't see it this way of course.
Anyway keep things out of the public gaze by way of PM or whatever and we'll all be happy.
