Yes, It's wider so offers more support, but also a lot harder than the Honda seat so I felt bumps in the road a lot more. The rack is handy though and it's a 3 second swap as it locks on in the same manner as the original seat.

I sold mine to another member here after a few years and he has kept it on for the last 18 months or so.

Actually, now I think about it, my signature pic below is the very seat in question.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

    And I'm that other member!!!

The seat is fantastic I'm so used to it now, that when I (very occasionaly) have a pillion, I do not enjoy riding with the original seat and can't wait to get the touratech seat back under my *rse

The seat is a bit harder. but it's also quite a bit wider and I reckon that's the big difference. Over a long distance, it's definitely more comfortable

This man is gradually owning my bike, piece by piece. It's a slow process but quite clever.

Been a bit hectic lately. My dad died in September so I'd spent most of August back and forth to him and then there was all the funeral/legal stuff afterwards. Trying to get my mum moved now, away from the noisy/scummy neighbours my dad had to listen to in his last few weeks.
