    center stand

im thinking of trying to modify the centerstand on the @ to make it a bit easier to deal with .im sort of thinking that if the feet were reshaped somwhat to allow the bike to roll up easier onto the stand..... i'll see what i can come up with .

in the meen time throw some ideas at me

Chad - I have the FiveStars Rallye stand on my @ - the legs have a decent curve with quite a wide plate on the radius - seemed to rock back onto the stand quite easily from what I can remember.

Now I have the Ohlins in, the stand isn't long enough to lift the rear wheel off the ground so I'm going to have to get extensions welded in

    Re: center stand

I too have been struggling to get it up lately ! after I fitted the OEM stand a couple of weeks ago...........if i'm in my garage its next to impossible with the painted floor, as the stand tends to slide along at the sametime as your lifting and pushing back, this usually ends up with a pulled muscle and the air turning blue.

Found a much better way now, with the side stand down, i just crank the bike right over toward me so the rear wheel come high off the floor. just flick the centre stand down with your right foot .......piece of cake

    Re: center stand

I've got the genuine Honda centre stand on my TA, and I find the feet dig into the top layer of concrete in the garage. I've keep and old flattened cardboard box which I put under the feet. Anyone else find this?

I've got the original Honda one and find that it you put enough weight on the stand and pull back and up at EXACTLY! the right angle it's not too difficult to get it onto the main stand. If I'm parked on a slight slope I can almost get the bike on the main stand simply by putting all my weight on the stand. A slightly bigger "step" for my foot would be great though.
