Ive been doing a bit more work to the AT;
A nice new wavy rear disc
Some new 3cm lower footpegs
A nice new Chaingang rear sprocket
Ive replaced the airfilter with a custom made 2 stage foam jobbie, I have 3 spare outers which I can take along pre oiled on trips and change them easily.
This weekend I hope to replace the standard instruments with a Trailtech vapor

Impressive as always..![]()
. where did you source the lower pegs? from..I am not sure i need em now that i have taken off the rubber bit that already lowered it by about 1.5cm .. but am still looking at options (and cost)..
I got the pegs from, http://www.motobau.de/index2.html , Im 6"2' and I fine when standing up Im too crouched over to be comfortable, even with bar risers so Ive gone with the lower pegs to help. Im off for a good ride over the Oz day long weekend, 26th Jan, so a full report on the forks and pegs after that.
OK, my 1st proper ride with the USD's, the front end defineately feels more planted and torsionally stiffer. the action of the forks is pretty good but possibly a bit stiff, I need to do some more riding and play with th clickers some more before I decide if a play with the shimstacks are in order.
The single 320mm disc has plenty of power and nice feel, not sure yet how it will handle a good strop down a windy tar road in regards to fading. Now Im just in the process of replacing the CR mastercyl with a transalp one so I can have a brake light switch and mirror mount, had the fitting changed on the brakeline to suit at pirtek today, $19.95, bargain.
The low pegs are great, only 3cm lower but make a real difference to standing.
Lots of interest in the front end at Limeburners on the weekend
