Africa Twin Crash Bars - help please..

    Dear All,,,,

I am in a little dilemma, I need to buy crash bars for my RD07 and I am stuck for choice between SW-MOTECH or TOURATECH - I know this subject is discussed few times and few threads are on the forum but I couldn't find the exact answers I need. I need to know which is best to use in term of durability, easy fitting, etc.. I see that not much of a difference between the two except for price. The Touratech is the more expensive to buy.. But could the metal strength, fitting, etc justify the cost ?? !!
Searching the web, I found a fitting guide for the SW which looks easy enough, but I could not find anything on the Touratech. I don't know how easy or difficult it’s to fit the Touratech...
If any of you have the experience with any of the above, at least close up pictures, guides, etc.. To help me please... I appreciate your help and

Do you think these are SW-MOTECH made? Anyone know ?

sorry if "a junior member" brought this subject out again!!!!!!

    Thank you happy people...

Hi there in my opinion is just a brand thing between those two crash bars.
All I have read and seen shows SW-MOTECH is the more popular choice.
I need to get one still and they will be my option as well.
    thats my 2c.

These look exactly like my SW motech that were recently fitted.

They are definitely better than the Hepco & Becker ones that were on my last Africa. They don't fix onto the ally bellypan which helps keep the vibrations down and ease maintenance.

These bars are already second hand and are still the same shape ish!. A lot stronger than I could have hoped for.

The touratech name is a good one but plenty of people seem to like their SWs ok. And, they are a piece of cake to fit

Who makes the following crash bars? Always liked them but I'm also happy with my 1st generation Touratech bars.
